Members of the public are being advised to ensure that all windows and doors to their homes and cars are closed and locked following a series of burglaries in the North Clare area his weekend.Several homes in the Kilfenora area as well as a public house were targeted by theives in the early hours of yesterday morning. Clare FM has reported that the suspects stole small amounts of cash. However, Gardai are urging people to be careful and to ensure all valuables are out of sight.
Anyone with any information or who saw anything suspicious in the Kilfenora area between 3 and 6am are asked to contact Ennistymon Garda Station at 065-7072180
