County Clare is facing widespread disruption tomorrow as more than 10,000 electricians vow to go on strike across the country.The action follows the collapse of talks between the TEEU trade union and electrical contractors at the Labour Relations Commission yesterday.
The union is demanding an 11% wage hike for its members, while employers are seeking a 10% pay cut. Pickets will be placed at a number of major plants and construction sites from tomorrow morning.
