Digger used in Kilkenny ATM robbery

A gang of masked men have used a digger to rob a cash machine from the front wall of a Bank of Ireland branch in County Kilkenny.

The raiders used the digger to demolish the front of the building in Graiguenamanagh before loading the ATM onto another vehicle and fleeing the scene, reports breakingnews.ie. GardaĆ­ say they have found a number of vehicles believed to have been used in the robbery.

A similar raid was also carried out at Mother Hubbard's in Kinnegad, Co Westmeath, last week.
