Limerick County Council wishes to advise customers that severe disruption to water supplies is continuing throughout the county.
Due to a reduction in the amount of storage available in reservoirs, regular night-time restrictions in service can be expected until water levels are restored to normal.
In addition, due to breakages in water mains, unannounced disruptions to water supply can also be expected during daytime hours pending the repair of such breakages.
Customers should also be aware that those water users located at the extremity of water mains, or in elevated areas, are most likely to experience interruption to supply.
Limerick County Council requests all water users to continue to conserve water supplies during this recovery period.
