Insurance group Aviva has picked Dublin as the location for its European headquarters. The group already operates in Ireland under the Hibernian Aviva name. It has now filed an affidavit in the Commercial Court outlining a plan for a new legal entity for its European operations.
The entity is to be located in Dublin reports businessworld.ie. The development is not expected to create more than a small number of jobs, according to reports this morning.
