Court appearance for Scariff Prison Officer

A 51-year-old Scariff man is due back in Court later today charged with possession of drugs for sale or supply.

Thomas Corry, an officer at Limerick Prison was arrested in March in Limerick and charged with two counts of possession of drugs and two counts of possession of drugs with intent for sale or supply at Roxboro Road on the 15th March last

Clare FM reports that Mr Corry, who's from Aughrim in Scariff, was remanded on bail to appear before Limerick District Court later today.
