Silent march against child abuse crimes

A silent march will take place in Dublin today to show solidarity with survivors of child abuse crimes committed by religious orders.

Participants will walk from the Garden of Remembrance to the Dáil, where a petition will be handed to representatives of religious orders named in the Ryan Report.

RTE News reports that marchers are asked to gather at the garden in Parnell Square at midday and to proceed in silence throughout the march past the GPO to the Dáil.
