Man stabbed in Lisburn

A young man is fighting for his life today after being stabbed during a street row in Northern Ireland, reports the Irish Times.

Three men are being questioned over the incident in Lisburn which police are treating as attempted murder. The 20-year-old victim was stabbed in the body during the attack at Millbrook Road shortly before 2am.

Another 18-year-old man was also stabbed in the side but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Police said they arrested three men, aged 23, 21 and 20 who are helping with their inquiries.
