Gardai investigating a fatal shooting in Dublin in February have made an arrest.John Carroll was murdered in Grumpy Jacks pub in The Coombe in Dublin 8 on the 18th of February, according to the Irish Independent. Two males on a motorcycle pulled up outside the pub and the pillion passenger went inside and singled out 33-year-old Carroll. He then shot him a number of times at short range with a handgun. Carroll died in hospital a short time later.
This morning Gardai arrested a 27-year-old man in the Dublin 8 area in connection with the murder. He is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act.
