Gardaí in Limerick have mounted raids on around 20 houses on the south side of the city this morning as part of an investigation into unspecified criminal activity.More than 40 officers are involved in the operation, but few other details have been disclosed, reports breakingnews.ie.
The raids involve local gardaí and the armed Regional Support Unit.
