Thirty jobs are set to be created in Co Cork following the awarding of an operations and maintenance contract for the new Bord Gáis power plant in Whitegate.Bord Gais has awarded the contract to General Electric, which is also involved in the construction of the 445MW facility.
The plant is expected to be fully operational in just over a year.
