The body of an elderly man has been recovered from a lake in East Clare.It is believed to be that of a 71-year-old man who was reported missing yesterday. The find was made in Lannaught close to Killanena after a day long search involving gardaí and locals. The body has been taken to the Mid West Hospital in Limerick for a post mortem examination.
The missing man had been living in the Lannaught area.
