TripAdvisor award for the Clare Museum

Clare museum has been awarded a 2013 Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor.com, the world's largest travel site.

The prestigious award, which places Clare Museum in the top-performing 10% of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor, is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from TripAdvisor travellers.

The museum is currently the number one attraction on Tripadvisor out of thirteen reviewed attractions in Ennis.

‘We are delighted to receive this award,” explained John Rattigan, Museum Curator. He added: “The accolade is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.com. Museum staff and management have worked hard to increase the quality of the visitor experience in recent years and have consciously extended Clare’s Céad Míle Fáilte on a daily basis.”

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site, with more than 50 million unique monthly visitors and over 60 million reviews and opinions.
