Clare County Council has announced details of two separate road improvement works projects in the Ennis West Electoral Area.
Road resurfacing works will take place on the R-474 for a distance of approximately one kilometre from the Kilmaley Inn towards Ennis from October 22 to October 26. Road diversions will be in place as a result.
Meanwhile, Clare County Council has introduced a temporary road traffic 50 km/hr speed limit from today (5 October) for a period of two months on the main N68 Ennis to Kilrush road from the Kilrush Road Roundabout to the Edenvale Junction. The purpose of the works is to provide a filter lane to facilitate a dedicated right turning to the L-4164 from the N68 at Edenvale Junction.
Full details in relation to the scheduled road improvement works are available from www.clarecoco.ie.
