Halloween Fundraiser For Connolly Preschool

A Halloween fundraiser for Connolly Preschool will take place at the Bogdale House in Lisroe on Sunday October 31st from 3 to 6pm.

The community, non-profit preschool was started in 2001 and presently caters for 12 children, aged 3 to 5 years, from the Connolly area of Kilmaley Parish.

Teacher Susan Vaughan, who has worked at the Preschool since it was established nine years ago, said the upcoming fundraiser would help towards covering the cost of insurance, art and craft materials and other day-to-day expenses.

“We pride ourselves in giving a high quality childcare service to all families in the locality”, she explained.

Ms. Vaughan added: “This year we having a fancy dress party for Halloween to raise much needed funds. We are inviting children of all ages to a great afternoon out on October 31st. There will be Halloween games, a fancy dress competition, disco and much more. We would like to thank the Bogdale House for kindly providing their venue for our upcoming party.”
