Minister for Defence and Clare Fianna Fail T.D. Tony Killeen has confirmed the allocation of grant aid to Coláiste Mhuire in Ennis for the purpose of carrying out disabled access works at the school.
Minister Killeen said the funding is being allocated under the Department of Education and Skills’ Contingency Approvals Scheme 2010.
“Colaiste Mhuire is one of over 60 Clare schools to benefit from upgrade works over the summer period, with the majority of funding being provided under the Summer Works Scheme 2010. Disabled access works will take place over the coming weeks and will help deliver further improvements in the quality of existing accommodation at the school”, he explained.
