The Society of St Vincent de Paul is urging the people of Clare to support the fourth 'Know Your Neighbour' Weekend, which takes place next weekend.The society also says that it would be an appropriate time for the Government to reinstate the grant for the security of older people. It provides funding to community-based organisations to install window and door locks, door chains, security lighting, smoke alarms and the once-off cost of installing monitored alarms.
