Vinny Faherty scored twice as Galway eased past 10-man Harps before a small crowd at Ballybofey.
Faherty headed Galway in front on 16 minutes from Iarfhlaith Davoren’s cross, reports breakingnews.ie. Harps hopes suffered a big blow when midfielder Michael Funston was sent off on the half-hour for retaliating to a foul by John Russell.
Galway then scored twice inside a minute early in the second half to seal their win. Faherty got his second on 50 minutes with skipper Jay O’Shea adding the third.
