Classmates of one of the Irish victims of last month's Air France plane crash gathered in Thurles this evening for a special mass to remember their friend.
Dr Aisling Butler died with two of her colleagues when a French plane crashed on a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris at the end of May, reports RTE. The doctors had been returning from holidays in South America.
The Ursuline Secondary School in Thurles said over 100 of Dr Butler's former classmates had made contact with staff in recent weeks to express their condolences.
