A 22-year-old man has appeared at Nenagh District Court charged in connection with the death of his father in Templemore on Wednesday night.
James McInerney, of 72 Lacey Avenue in Templemore, was charged with assault causing serious harm to his 56-year-old father James McInerney senior, accoring to RTE News today. The court heard that the accused made no reply when the charge was put to him.
No application for bail was made and Mr McInerney was remanded in custody until 26 June at Nenagh District Court.
