A man has died following a road traffic accident near Oranmore, Co Galway, this morning.The crash happened at 8.20am when the car the man was travelling in entered a field at Carnmore Cross near the N6.
Gardaí are treating the incident as sudden death, RTE News reports. The man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been taken to Galway University Hospital where a postmortem will be carried out.
