A new county manager has taken over in County Clare.At yesterday's county council April meeting, the 32 members formally ratified Tom Coughlan for the €146,845 a year position.
The 51 year old has secured a seven-year contract. Mr Coughlan has served in a variety of senior executive positions in Clare since 1995.
