Kilrush golf club has opened a distance membership to golfers living 100km (60 miles) or more from the West Clare town.
The club will give full membership for €150, plus €16.50 GUI affiliation fee.
Those without a GUI handicap must play at least three times at Kilrush and return cards for a handicap.
