Superstar rocker Rod Stewart will play Thomond Park in Limerick on July 4 next year, it has been confirmed today.Aiken Promotions the promoters of the event confirmed tickets will go on sale this Friday at 9am. Rod Stewart will be the second act to perform in the newly finished stadium. Elton John is schedueld to headline a concert at the venue.
With his career in its fifth decade, Stewart has achieved numerous solo hit singles worldwide, most notably in the UK, where he has garnered six consecutive number one albums and his tally of 62 hit singles include 24 that reached the top 10, six of which gained the number one position.
