Daly tipped for Dublin post

Clarecastle's Anthony Daly is set to be ratified as Dublin's new senior hurling manager at a meeting of the county board on tonight.

Daly was previously in charge of his native Clare from 2003 until 2006. He is currently manager of Kerry side Kilmoyley and led them to victory over Causeway in the county final last month.

Daly captained Clare to All-Ireland glory in 1995 and 1997, while he also helped the county to the Munster title in 1995, 1997 and 1998.
