Three people have been rescued from a cave near Doolin after getting trapped while exploring the area last night.
A major rescue operation was launched after the cavers ran the Gardaí from a mobile phone to report that they were getting into difficulty, breakingnews.ie reports.
The cave had become cut off due to rising flood waters, but a garda spokesperson says the trapped cavers have been found safe and well.
