A young boy has been seriously injured after he was struck by a car in Lissycasey.
The incident happened near Fanny O Dea's pub shortly before 5pm this evening, breakingnews.ie reports. It is understood the young boy got off a private coach and was running across the road when he was struck.
He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital.
