The Shannon Recycling Centre was one of three finalists in the "Best Civic Amenity Site" category.
The objective of the Repak AwardS is to promote and encourage good recycling practice amongst industry, local authorities, waste contractors and youth. This is a significant achievement for Shannon Recycling Centre, which only opened for business in July 2007.
