Clare County Council is set to meet the HSE today to discuss the findings of further testing for elevated lead levels in local water supplies.The local authority is currently pinpointing certain areas around the county and is drawing up a plan of action, according to Clare FM news today. Four locations have already been identified, two in Ennis, one in Clarecastle and another in Sixmilebridge.
Public water taps are in place for householders affected in Marion Avenue in Ennis due to the complex nature of the lead piping system there.
