Met Éireann has issued a severe weather warning for County Clare valid until 6pm this evening.Met Éireann says it expects extremely windy and wet weather for the duration, with strong to gale force southwest winds giving gusts to 60 knots or 110km/h.
Heavy rain will affect the areas with total amounts of 25-40mm possible.
