Gardaí are continuing to question a 27-year-old man in connection with the seizure of parts of a pipe bomb, ammunition and drugs in Shannon yesterday.Breakingnews.ie reports that Officers from the Regional Support Unit and local gardaí searched two houses as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in the Limerick and Shannon areas.
The area has been sealed off and the operation is due to resume later today. The 27-year-old is being detained at Ennis garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
