Kilrush Nursing Home Faces Visitor Restrictions

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has put visitor restrictions in place at Regina House in Kilrush following a suspected outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

Infection control procedures have been tightened and new admissions stopped due to three suspected cases of the bug at the community nursing home in Kilrush, which currently has 36 residents reports Clare FM News.

The HSE is asking for public co-operation to help combat the winter vomiting bug in view of its prevalence among the community at large.
