Considine withdraws from Limerick hurling post race

Former Clare hurling boss Tony Considine has withdrawn from the race to become the next Limerick hurling manager.

The Irish Independent reports that Considine was one of five people already interviewed for the job but he announced yesterday that he is pulling himself out of the contest due to work commitments before the process reaches its final stages.

"I have been interviewed for the job and there are five others in for the position but I have decided that with my work commitments I really won't have time for it," Considine said.
