Grassroot Progressive Democrat members in Clare, Limerick and Tipperary are expected to strongly oppose the proposed winding up of the party when they meet in a Limerick hotel this week.It is reported that the PDS’ four Oireachtas members will formally propose that the party should wind up at next month's special delegates meeting.
The terms of the motion will go before a meeting of the party's national executive, while the meeting will also select a venue for the gathering on November 8th.
