A woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after her car ran into five vehicles at midday on Sunday.The woman, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, damaged several parked vehicles on Abbey St (left0, in Ennis. She narrowly missed dozens of massgoers, shoppers and other pedestrians. No one is understood to have been in any of the vehicles at the time
The woman was removed from her car and taken to Ennis Garda station, where she was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
