Complaints flood in from East Clare farmers

Farmers in East Clare are concerned that this year's crop will be useless due to floods in recent weeks, according to Clare FM news.

Heavy falls of rain have compounded the problems of a bad year for farming all over the country with many farmers saying that their lands are unable to produce a good crop.

The weather this year has not been good for farmers who've had to bring livestock inside and are paying winter feed bills all summer.

Michael Lynch, Clare Chair of the IFA says that the Government need to assist the farmers whose income will be reduced as a result.
