A 14-old-boy has died in a road traffic collision in Co Clare.
The teenager was cycling between Ennistymon and Lahinch around midnight when he was struck by a car.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick where a post mortem examination will be carried out. As a result of the accident a stretch of the N67 between Ennistymon and Lahinch is closed and traffic diversions are in place.
