Ennis man remains critical after Limerick Hotel fall

A young Ennis man remains critically ill in hospital in Cork after a fall in Limerick at the weekend.

Clare FM reports today that the man in his 20's was seriously injured after he fell over a banister of a staircase at the Hilton Hotel in the city in the early hours of Sunday. It is understood he had arrived into the hotel just minutes earlier to ring a taxi to bring him home.

He was rushed to the Mid Western Regional Hospital Limerick but later transferred to the Neurological unit in Cork Gardai are treating it as a tragic accident
