A teenager kept a record in which she claimed to have had sex 22 times with 17 men when aged 13.
The now 19 year old girl described to Donegal Circuit Court yesterday how she drew up a list of men’s names on September 18th, 2003. The Irish Times reports that she was giving evidence on the second day of the trial of a 34-year-old married man who denies six charges of sexually assaulting her between June 1st and November 30th, 2003.
The case continues on Tuesday.
Two men in their 30s are to appear at a special sitting of Galway District Court today in connection with yesterday's drug seizure in the county.
Cannabis worth an estimated €1.1m was seized at about 2pm yesterday. The seizure. which was made at a house in the Loughrea area, was the result of an ongoing operation by gardaĆ and customs officers.
Two men were arrested and held under the Misuse of Drugs Act, reports breakingnews.ie. They are to appear in court shortly charged in connection with the seizure.
