GALWAY - Wind Energy Firm Creates 250 Jobs
A company based in Athenry has said it will create 250 jobs over the next two years as part of a €20m expansion programme.The company - C&F - is planning to design and manufacture wind turbines. It currently employs 800 people worldwide, with 180 at its Athenry headquarters. C&F says it will be the first company to fully design and build wind turbines in Ireland. It says the turbines will use a new technology which allows them to harness wind at lower speeds.
