Clare County Council announced today that the new state-of-the-art lifeguard facility in Lahinch will be officially opened later this month.

Mayor of Clare Councillor Madeleine Taylor Quinn will officially open the Lahinch Lifeguard Centre – the largest of its kind anywhere in Ireland – on Friday, 22 May 2009.

KILDARE - NUI Maynooth Building Generates 150 Construction Jobs

More than 150 jobs are to be created in County Kildare during the construction of a new research building at NUI Maynooth.

Around €15m is being invested in the state-of-the-art facility. The construction posts will be rolled out over the next year.
