Funding For Clarecastle Daycare Centre

The Clarecastle Daycare Centre is benefit from funding of 50,000 euro for a new bus.

The funding has been approved by the Health Minister Mary Harney under the National Lottery Grant and will be a welcome resource for the 250 people in and around Ennis and Clarecastle who avail of the services of the district daycare centre each week., Clare FM News reports.

GardaĆ­ Taken For A Ride

Clare members of An Garda Siochana got on their bikes today to raise badly needs funds for the water based rescue services across the county.

30 officers took part and cycled over 130 kilometres starting out at Doolin this morning in fine weather conditions, ending up in Killaloe before seven o'clock this evening.

The money raised will be used to support seven seperate water resuce services across the county including Kilrush, Kilkee, Mountshannon and Ennis, according to Clare FM news.
