Aer Lingus Retrofit To Go Ahead

Aer Lingus today said it has signed contracts with Honeywell International for components maintenance of its A320 and A330 aircraft.

The airline said the contract will start from Nov. 1, 2008, for a 10-year period and will be primarily provided in Toulouse, France.

Aer Lingus is to reduce its transatlantic services from Shannon between January and March 2009 to allow for a retrofit of three of its aircraft.
