*BREAKING NEWS* Harney to meet husband of Ennis cancer victim

The Minister for Health is to meet with Karl Henry, the husband of Ann Moriarty, whose cancer was misdiagnosed at Ennis General Hospital.

Speaking to RTE News this morning, Mary Harney said cancer reform is needed in light of misdiagnosis instances such as that of Ann Moriarty. She said mammography services at the hospital were suspended to improve patient safety.

Neighbourhood Watch Scheme For Miltown and Spanish Point

Community Efforts to fight crime in Miltown Malbay and Spanish Point were discussed last night.

A public meeting was held at the Community Hall in Miltown Malbay with a view to setting up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme for the area.
