Date Fixed For Clare Youth Soccer Trial

The next training session for this years Clare youth's (born in 1990) will take place on Saturday 20th September from 11 am to 1 pm. Lee's road has been booked for then, but this is dependant on other fixtures and weather.

All clubs are asked to inform players whom they consider of inter-county standard to attend. Send in your players and help them raise the standard of player we produce at this level in County Clare. Please inform; early in the week, players who are away at college.

Warnings as algal Bloom returns to Lough Derg

Warning notices have been erected along the shoreline of Lough Derg, after the return of a toxic algal bloom.

The signs were put up in all amenity areas on the Shannon Largest Lake after the re-appearance of the blue-green algae, which can cause skin rashes in humans and prove fatal to dogs, reports Clare FM news.
